Maneira Advogados event in BH is a highlight in the State of Minas

Even with the serious financial crisis that is hitting Brazil, the tax lawyer from Rio de Janeiro Marcos Catão, partner of the Spanish firm ECIJA – believes and invests in the country –, was in Belo Horizonte last Saturday, 18th, to participate in the ceremony that sealed his association with the firm Maneira Advogados (based in Rio, SP and Brasília), which now arrives in the capital of Minas Gerais and begins its activities with 30 lawyers, based in the employee neighborhood. On the occasion, the recent merger of the firm founded by Minas Gerais lawyer Eduardo Maneira, president of the Tax Law Commission of the OAB Nacional, with two offices in BH, Brito & Maia Advogados and Carneiro Advogados, was also celebrated. The Spanish firm ECIJA is present in 14 countries and is the largest Spanish office in Latin America, having recently opened offices in Mexico and Ecuador. The event was held around lunch, which lasted throughout the day, in the Morro do Chapéu social hall. Catão traveled to Spain the next day, where he does business and considers the country his second homeland. For the firm's founding partner, Eduardo Maneira, arrival in the capital of Minas Gerais marks a special moment.
