The practice of the TMT and Privacy & Data Protection team incorporates the dynamism of new technologies to the challenges and particularities of the regulated markets of broadcasting and telecommunications. In such fields,  the team incorporates its expertise with regards to intellectual property issues, including the valuation of intangible assets, and the registration and licensing procedures before the Brazilian IP Agency. .

Having in-depth knowledge of telecommunication regulatory issues, our team develops institutional dialogue with the main market stakeholders, including in the relevant with the Brazilian Telecom Agency – ANATEL, Brazilian Audiovisual Agency – ANCINE and other public or semipublic bodies. In this subspecialty, we  advise different types of structures such as JV´s, telecom operators, ran-sharing and infrastructure companies

Finally the team is able to advise on various topics of digital law, including services that range from the preparation of licensing agreements, assignment of rights, software development, audiovisual content distribution, technology transfer, projects related to the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud services, fintechs, payment gateways, open banking to  blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI);
