Eduardo is a partner in the Corporate and M&A area of Maneira Advogados, associated to ECIJA. In more than 13 years of transactional practice, he has advised national and international corporate operations, mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions in several industries. His experience includes strategic advice on corporate governance, share-based compensation plans, corporate reorganizations, estate and succession planning, private equity, corporate finance, mining contracts, debt issuance, hybrid instruments and banking contracts.
Bachelor of Laws and Master of Business Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, specialist in Business Law from the Catholic University of Minas Gerais, and LL.M. with honors from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
He was an international associate at one of New York’s most prestigious law firms.
Eduardo is the author of Swaps: a legal analysis (Almedina, 2018) and of various academic papers.
